Welcome to my new homepage! After having had an `old' (you know, HTML 1.0) webpage for more than 5 years, it was time to revamp it using some features of the newer standards. I hope you will enjoy it!

Software Hacking

In personal conversations with technical people, I call myself a hacker. But when I'm talking to journalists, I just say "programmer" or something like that.
-- Linus Torvalds

The magic word here is Linux, the choice of a GNU generation!

On November 16, 1999, I gave a presentation (in Dutch) about `Open Source Software (OSS) Development'.

Before I started working on Linux, I was active in the Commodore 64 and Commodore Amiga scenes.

Hardware Hacking

Hitachi HD44780 LCD (available soon)

Collecting Computer Systems

I like to collect old computer systems that still work. This is very simple since computers become obsolete as soon as people have bought them, so people want to get rid of them and upgrade to a newer system :-)
